Why do I need to care about NCR and CAA?

   

As a student, I am watching this whole situation from past few day and to be honest I feel these all things that are going on are nothing than a distracting act of our fellow government.

Let me elaborate the whole situation for you. I will try to be politically neutral and will also express my thoughts upon this whole situation.

Okay, so we know our nation is a secular nation. But what is happening nowadays? There are protest everywhere and that all goes for a bill which become an act. So do people still need to protest. Well in my sense yes they need to. First of all the main problem with this act is.. it is biased. Truly biased. Well you can give citizenship to any religion except muslims like they are not a part of this nation. In fact we all are humans then why there is such need for discrimation on fields of thoughts and expression? Well to be honest someone need to divide people so that they can rule over the masses. The caste system is an prominent example of it. In that in fact in hindus, the rajput and other wanted to rule over the people so they developed a system to divide people. Hitler did that too by dividing Jews and Aryans  so that people would not question his ill practices. The lust of power and authority are the main reasons why humans tend to discriminate among one another.

One scene which proves this whole is Maharashtra elections. We all enjoyed the open raping of our constitution and we all kept quite because why to get a tag of anti-national? It is far better to stay quite than getting lynched.

The reason behind this act -

• ·        Well the obvious reason why I feel this act came is because of shutting down of Ram Mandir case. Now politicians wanted a new scheme for their ill practices which they did by creating a new division in our society by this act.
• ·        Slowing down of our economy. There is no doubt that this government is facing difficulty to run this nation so they diverted the attention of masses to this well so criticized act.
• ·        Growing rate of inflation. We are aware that the food prices and prices of daily essentials are going up. Instead of finding a solution our govt. is trying to divert our attention.
• ·        Low employment rate. This is the far most the main reason behind these kind of acts. People are not getting jobs and those who have one are losing theirs.
• ·        Slowing down of Modi Wave. So far the obvious reason would be that the BJP runs on modi wave and for some time I mean after Balakot it became silent so after that they need to revive it and this is their masterstroke.

Maybe I have covered all the points. And there’s one more and that is student protest. We are aware of the fact that most of today’s politicians came from emergency period when student protested against the ruling party. Now same thing is happening today. So what our govt. did? Surely suppressed it. It is a well known fact that govt . is hiking up fees of public education institutions. And students are ofcourse angry with this. They need some answers which our govt. in not answering. Our universities are not getting fund for research and the current situation of our universities are deteriorating.

What govt. should do?

First of all they should accept the situation and shift their focus on uplifting our economy we need far better infrastructure in our public institution. We need better healthcare, education, roads, jobs,etc.

We need to raise our voice don’t let some people decide our future. Raise your voice because they are not going to live the future. They have lived their and now it is our times to live. So speak up, for yourself, for your loved ones and for your children.
